Out of the Box - First Views: Wow - most people are amazed by just how slim the UE46B7000 is - in reality less than an inch and a half in depth.Samsung has done well by ensuring that everything you could do with is incorporated in the package, not like some of its competitors who occasionally move key components out to a separate box you have to find room for. It also looks good, with a noticeable black surround and a slender see-through connection linking the screen and the pedestal.Sound: Akin to numerous flatscreen TVs the sound output on the UE46B7000 is somewhat inadequate. The thickness of the UE46B7000 is too small to include a sufficient audio system. It would be prudent to look at adding a surround audio system.
Screen Quality: This is the chief benefit of the UE46B7000 over its competitors, in that it has replaced fluorescent backlighting with Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs). Not everybody realises that the UE46B7000 is still a LCD Television. it is solely the backlighting that"s altered. LEDs have the following advantages:

* Response times (when watching a fast shifting image) are quicker.
* Additional colours can be shown.
Connectivity: The UE46B7000 comes with four HDMI, two USB, and one LAN port - all nearly all of us are expected to want for countless years at least. The LAN one permits the UE46B7000 to retrieve files on your Computer network that you might want to use. And the USB connections make available many file formats to be played when a USB stick is put in.
